Part went transparent after converting to sheetmetal

After bringing in a step model of a sheet metal bracket, I converted it to sheet metal. Everything went fine but the part is transparent now. I can unsupress the flat pattern and the model looks fine. I researched this topic and shut down SW and came back in to no avail. I added material type, tried "rebuild". No change. Any ideas? I'm using SW2011, the step file was created with 2012.

Good morning Dale, Right click on the part and see if you can change the transparency, Can you upload the part?

Toggling transparency seems to have no effect. I would upload if I knew how. How?

When you go to the response window, look at the right hand corner and click on the use advanced editor, then you be able to upload,
