non-assembly parts in BOM

I have 3 very simple parts detailed on a single drawing. While they are not part of an assembly per se, they are used together.

I would like these 3 parts to show up in a single BOM, but as you know, when placing a BOM it asks for you to pick a single part/assembly. Thus, only one part shows up in the BOM. I could manually add a couple more rows and type in the information, but that will not auto-update.

I could place 3 different BOMs in the drawing, but that looks pretty cheesy.

Is there some way to get a BOM to include parts that are not in its currently shown assembly (or part)?

Thanks

Bring it into your drawing and create the BOM. Delete the drawing view of the assembly from the drawing or just move it off the sheet. RMB on each individual part drawing view and check the box for "Link balloon to specified table".

Yeah, I did think about doing just that, but was hoping I would not have to create a "bogus" assembly.
Except...I dont see this "link balloon" checkbox. I have to manually edit the balloons.
Guess theres no way around it

thanks

Sorry about that, I left out an important step.  RMB on an edge of your part in the drawing.  You will get this:

Click on Properties to get this:

Click on the box, then choose the appropriate BOM from the drop-down.
